Job Title: Senior Cloud Developer Location: Huntsville, AL Position Type: Full-Time Travel Requirements: Less than 10% Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Architect responsible for designing, developing, and implementing cloud service delivery models, enabling Platform as a Service (PaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS), and Data as a Service (DaaS). This individual will leverage their expertise in cloud automation, cloud migration strategies, and DevSecOps best practices to optimize cloud operations and deliver secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions. Cloud Architecture & Strategy: Develop and implement the architectural framework for delivering cloud services (PaaS, IaaS, SaaS, DaaS). Automation & DevSecOps: Utilize DevSecOps best practices to automate cloud resources, ensuring security and operational efficiency. Cloud Migration & Deployment: Analyze applications and provide recommendations on platform migration and deployment into cloud environments. Resiliency & Cost Optimization: Create strategies for cloud-based failure recovery, cost optimization, and benefit analysis across cloud, cloud-agnostic, and on-premises services. Cloud Application Development: Design and develop new cloud applications and migrate existing on-premises applications to the cloud. Cloud Infrastructure Management: Debug cloud stacks, manage security policies, and oversee the provisioning of new technologies within the cloud environment. Security & Compliance: Establish and maintain a secure cloud environment, ensuring compliance with security protocols and availability requirements. Independent Project Execution: Work independently to design, develop, and enhance cloud-based software products, ensuring they meet performance, security, and reliability standards. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Minimum of 8 years of experience in cloud architecture, DevSecOps, and automation of cloud services. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or similar. Expertise in cloud migration strategies, deployment, and debugging cloud stacks. Strong understanding of cloud security protocols and frameworks. Ability to analyze and provide cost-benefit and failure/recovery strategies for cloud services. Clearance: Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required.
