Day to day as a IR Registered Nurse -

As a Per Diem IR Registered Nurse at Comprehensive Interventional Care Centers in Yuma, AZ, you will play a pivotal role in the patient care journey. Your expertise will shine as you prepare pre-op patients for procedures, administer medications, and provide comprehensive education to patients and their families. In the procedural suite, you will excel in patient preparation, circulating, and assisting, all while sedating and monitoring patients with the utmost care.

Handling patient tissue samples and maintaining IV access will be second nature to you, ensuring smooth procedures. Your quick response to contrast reactions and ability to administer medications as directed by physicians will showcase your commitment to excellence in care. Your recommendations to physicians and families, under the physician's guidance, will contribute to holistic patient well-being.

Lastly, orchestrating patient discharge will be the final touch in ensuring a seamless and positive patient experience.

To thrive in the role of Per Diem IR Registered Nurse at Comprehensive Interventional Care Centers in Yuma, AZ, you must possess a diverse set of skills and qualifications. A successful candidate will have graduated from an approved nursing program and hold a valid RN license in the state. Ideally, candidates will bring 2+ years of critical care or telemetry experience to the table. Attention to detail is paramount, with precise data entry skills and the ability to maintain accurate records. The capacity to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment is essential.

Compliance with CME training and ACLS certification is mandatory, ensuring high standards of patient care. Upholding patient privacy and HIPAA guidelines, along with effective communication skills, are crucial. Flexibility in scheduling and a commitment to handling confidential information with sensitivity are key attributes for success in this dynamic role.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

  • Must have successfully graduated from an approved nursing program
  • RN license in the state(s) position is listed for
  • 2+ years critical care or coronary care experience (preferred) or 2+ years of telemetry experience
  • Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail
  • Skill in data entry with minimal errors
  • Ability to accurately prepare and maintain records

  • Must successfully complete CME compliance training
