Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN is looking for an exceptional, patient focused Registered Nurse to join our Cath Lab and make a difference for our patients and our community. The RN will assess, plan, perform, document, and evaluate professional independent nursing practice at Regions Hospital; to perform and document dependent functions such as carrying out the physician's medical orders; to assist physicians with diagnostic and treatment procedures; to provide a safe and therapeutic environment; to coordinate, communicate, interpret, and explain patient care services to the patient, his/her family, health professionals and important others; to perform related duties as assigned. This position is expected to take call and to live within a 30-minute call back time. Our Nursing staff are key to the exceptional care we provide each patient. Our Professional Nursing Practice Model offers patient family-centered care that maintains an unwavering focus on what matters most: caring and healing at the patient's bedside. As a nursing professional you will be empowered to manage your clinical practice and working environment through our Shared Governance Model, which focuses on evidence-based nursing practice. Our award-winning programs give our patients and their families a place of comfort and healing. We are proud of the care we give each and every patient. Work schedule: Monday thru Friday, 8 and 10hr shifts. On call weeknights and weekends shifts. Required Qualifications: Completion of an accredited associate's, bachelor's, or master's degree program in Nursing. Current licensure as a registered nurse by the State of Minnesota. Six months (1040 hours) of ICU nursing experience required if no Cath Lab experience. ACLS certification within six months of hire. Must live within a 30-minute call back time.
