Job Summary

As a Systems Integration Specialist, you will take charge of the planning and design of new software and web applications. You will analyze, test, and assist in the integration of new applications while documenting all development activities. With your extensive experience and skills in this field, you will help shape the future of our projects and guide less experienced colleagues.

About the Team:

Our team works with partners to identify their market needs and integrate Comcast's technical solutions into their networks. We focus on creating tailored plans, executing deliverables, and overcoming integration challenges.

What You'll Do:

  • Work with project stakeholders to gather product and technical requirements while analyzing integration needs.
  • Design new software and web applications, support ongoing developments, and customize existing applications, including facilitation of software updates.
  • Provide training to representatives and operations staff on our internally developed software applications.
  • Research and document technical requirements, including software designs and evaluation plans, and compile test results and technical manuals.
  • Monitor and evaluate competitive applications and products by reviewing literature, patents, and current practices related to assigned projects.
  • Offer technical leadership throughout the design process and provide guidance on procedures and best practices.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure applications meet all specifications and technical requirements.
  • Exhibit in-depth knowledge of engineering methodologies, concepts, and skills relevant to this field.
  • Display proficiency in project management and the application of design skills.
  • Exercise independent judgment effectively in significant matters.
  • Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance, with flexibility for nights, weekends, or additional hours as needed.
  • Perform other assigned duties as necessary.

Skills & Experience We're Looking For:

  • Experience with RDK firmware or similar device middleware firmware.
  • Familiarity with Customer Premises Equipment, including routers and cable modems.
  • Knowledge of network operator back-office systems and tools.
  • Outstanding communication skills.
  • Experience working collaboratively with customers and senior management.
  • Adept at translating technical issues into business impacts for various stakeholders.

Education

Bachelor's Degree preferred, though a combination of coursework and experience may also be considered.
