POSITION : 
We are seeking highly motivated and dynamic Reformer Certified Pilates Instructors to join our new studio, located in Wayzata, MN.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for Pilates and helping others improve their lives through health and fitness, working with all levels of clients to provide challenging, fitness-based Pilates classes in a safe manner. 

As a Pilates instructor, you will be responsible for coaching and training clients ensuring proper techniques and form while leading them through a series of exercises meant to increase their strength, flexibility, and balance. You will develop individualized and group fitness programs and may be asked to perform various administrative duties. 

Club Pilates offers blocked scheduling and shifts, the ability to teach multiple level classes, club membership, continuing education, room for growth in a supportive & fun environment.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A Pilates certification from a reputable program
  • An excellent understanding of Pilates techniques, movements and modifications of equipment and exercises
  • Ability to demonstrate effective group reformer instruction
  • Experience working with clients one-on-one and in group classes
  • A proven ability to motivate and inspire clients
  • Excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to continuously improve and enhance skills.

  • Punctual, reliable and dedicated
 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Providing Pilates group reformer classes pursuant to Club Pilates standards
  • Instructing clients (up to 12 clients per class) using proper form and safe methods on a variety of equipment including, but not limited to, Reformer, TRX, Springboard, Exo-Chair, hand weights, etc. to ensure a safe, yet creative experience
  • Conducting private, semi-private, demo or other additional sessions as needed
  • Visually inspecting the equipment prior to each class to ensure it is in good working order and safe to use
  • Maintaining a clean and orderly workout environment
  • Assisting with membership sales and checking clients in
  • Building studio revenue by promoting retail and membership sales & services
