URGENT HIRING Critical Care Air Transport Nurse Opportunity
We are seeking a Critical Care Air Transport Nurse to join our team of air transportation professionals. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting patients to and from medical facilities and responding to scene calls. Our team is dedicated to providing high-quality, professional, and safe patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Assess each situation to determine the best course of action for supporting, monitoring, and treating critically ill or injured patients.
- Utilize critical thinking skills to manage adult and pediatric patients in critical care situations.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked aircraft environment and comply with safety standards.
- Collaborate effectively with air and ground teams, dispatch, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ensure accurate documentation and records are maintained in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Three years of experience in an Emergency or Adult Critical Care setting as a licensed RN.
- Current RN license in the states served by the assigned area.
- EMT Certification in state(s) where required.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required prior to flight status.
- Trauma Certification where required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior flight experience.
- Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS.
Other Qualifications:
- Advanced Certification (CEN, CCRN, CFRN) required within 24 months from date of hire.
