SR. AUTOMATION

Senior Automation & Validation Engineer.

Responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting automation systems utilizing the DeltaV platform. Play a crucial role in delivering efficient, reliable, and scalable solutions that meet client's automation requirements.

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with project teams and clients to understand automation requirements and develop innovative solutions using DeltaV.

2. Design and configure DeltaV control systems, including developing control strategies, configuring DeltaV Live and Operate graphics, and implementing control logic.

3. Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including functional specifications, configuration documents, and test plans.

4. Conduct testing and troubleshooting of DeltaV systems to ensure proper functionality and adherence to project specifications.

5. Provide technical support and guidance to project teams and clients throughout the project lifecycle.

6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including programmers, engineers, and technicians, to integrate DeltaV systems with existing infrastructure and control networks.

7. Participate in commissioning and startup activities, including system validation, operator training, and performance optimization.

8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in DeltaV technology to drive continuous improvement in automation solutions.

9. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

2. Proven experience working as an DeltaV Automation Engineer.

3. Understanding of Process Automation implementation in a Pharma/Biotech environment.

4. Strong knowledge of the DeltaV platform, including configuration, programming, and troubleshooting.

5. Proficient in designing and implementing control strategies using DeltaV.

6. Familiarity with process automation concepts, instrumentation, and control systems.

7. Solid understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, OPC, Ethernet/IP).

8. Experience in developing and maintaining technical documentation.

9. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure.

10. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients.

11. Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

12. Able to travel to client sites everyday during the project execution.
