Vocational Counselor

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Brooke Industries, Inc. is seeking a motivated, dependable, and flexible person to work with individuals with disabilities in a production environment. Complete referral, intake, and assessment process for individuals referred to the program. Conduct vocational planning meetings, as well as establish, review, and adjust goals. Provide vocational counseling and training to program participants. Responsible for job set-up, assignment of work, record keeping, training, and supervision. Must be highly organized and accurate and have the ability to maintain high quality standards. Maintain open and professional communication with individuals, staff, families, funding sources, and the rehabilitation community. Complete case management services, including monthly reports, case notes, and attendance at staffings. Assist with transportation routes, community outings and supervise program areas as needed. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Must be professional, dependable, and have good organizational and/or management skills. Computer experience and good oral and written communication skills required.
