Job Summary: AMechanical Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems and components. The ideal candidate will possess a strong engineering background, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams as well as our prior established engineering department.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Design & Development: Create and refine mechanical designs for new products or systems using CAD software (SolidWorks and AutoCAD). Develop detailed engineering drawings and specifications.

·         Prototyping & Testing: Build and test prototypes to ensure they meet design specifications and performance standards. Analyze test results and iterate designs as needed.

·         Problem-Solving: Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues in existing equipment or systems. Implement design improvements based on feedback and performance analysis.

·         Project Management: Coordinate with project teams to ensure designs are delivered on time and within budget. Maintain accurate documentation and reports of design processes and project progress.

·         Collaboration: Work closely with electrical engineers, software engineers, and other team members to integrate mechanical systems with other components. Communicate effectively with team member to understand requirements and constraints.

·         Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, regulations, and safety guidelines. Stay updated on relevant technological advancements and industry trends.

Required Qualifications:

·         Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering

·         Experience: 2-5 years of experience in mechanical design and development. Experience with 3D modeling software and AutoCAD. FEA simulation analysis programs. Ability to manage projects from conception through to completion.

·         Skills: Proficiency in CAD, strong analytical and problem solving abilities, Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Knowledge of mechanical systems including troubleshooting.Understanding of Engineering Principles including thermodynamics, fluid dynamics and materials science.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
