At Doncasters Structural Castings of Oxford, we have an opportunity for Maintenance Technicians to join ourteams in Oxford, AL.
This position’s is a 2nd Shift with potential overtime. This individual could work a 5:30 pm - 2:00am with motivated employees and our Management Team to become a part of a successful Industrial Casting Company with a good work life balance.
This is an exciting opportunity. It’s not just a job, you´ll be helping to open the skies for airplanes. As a Maintenance Technician, each day dawns with a thrilling mix of applying technical understanding, manual mastery, and hands-on engagement. Your duty is to ensure that the process runs smoothly by recognizing and rectifying machine faults. Turning the ordinary into extraordinary, you will utilize handheld tools and machinery daily.

Some of the products at DSCO include, nozzles, heatshields, seal segments, torque bars and many more that keep the world in motion DSCO is one of our larger sites employing around 210 employees, situated in Alabama it is a very commutable and accessible site to reach.

Attention to detail:Are you able to find the problem in puzzles quickly? If so, then this is the role for you.

Problem solving Technical Skills: Three to Five years of experience in Maintenance or similar role. Have you completed an advance apprenticeship or HNC equivalent in Electrical Engineering with a good PLC Knowledge in programming, fault finding, and diagnosis? Are you able to come up with creative solutions within a manufacturing environment with precision results, then you have the right skills to excel in this role. By solving problems efficiently, you will keep the world in motion.

Ability to work in a team and strong communication:If you are a team player, whether it’s on a sports field or conquering board games, then this is the role for you. You will use your teamwork skills and strong communication skills to effectively report and work on trouble shooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment with verbal communication or written communication to your colleagues.
