SpiriTrust Lutheran is now hiring a Clinical Education Instructor Education/Training: Graduate of a school of nursing with current license (s) to practice as a professional nurse in the state(s) served by SpiriTrust Lutheran Home Care & Hospice; CPR instructor or willingness to become a CPR instructor. Certification or additional education in OASIS required. Experience: Has satisfactorily demonstrated clinical competence in fulfilling the responsibilities of RN Level II for the equivalent of one (1) year at full time with SpiriTrust Lutheran Home Care & Hospice or has at least three (3) years of recent clinical experience and is willing to complete RN II orientation program. Essential Duties Ensures that all new hires have a positive and effective on-boarding experience that helps to nurture an attitude of engagement with the agency. Guides and supports new clinical employees in adjusting to their new job. Identifies the learning needs of new clinical staff and works with them in devising a plan to meet those needs. Makes visits with nursing or aide staff as appropriate to teach and/or assist staff with nursing procedures. Plans and presents staff and client education programs. Serves as an agency CPR Instructor. Provides education as indicated by audits and coordinates clinical in servicing SpiriTrust Lutheran is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
