EXCITING OPPORTUNITY for college grads TEMP TO PERM

A client of ours, a leading Pharma company, is looking for an Account Associate to join their growing team. The Associate Accountant will work with various members of the Finance department to provide support and assistance with the monthly general ledger close. The position includes monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and cash flow projections.

Responsibilities:

General Accounting

  • Monthly journal entries preparation, processing, and account reconciliations
  • Quarterly intercompany schedules preparation for the foreign affiliates and two domestic entities
  • Preparation and distribution of the monthly expense reports by department
  • Cashflow and fixed assets reporting
  • Assist with annual budgeting and periodic forecasting process.
  • Assist with bi-annual corporate shareholder and dividend mailings.
Banking
  • Daily cash reporting and ACH/Wire payment processing
  • Weekly international cash reporting
  • Monthly currency exchange rate reporting
  • Monthly bank reconciliations, cash receipts and disbursements updates
Purchasing
  • Create, process, and manage purchase orders and requisitions as needed.
  • Process orders/purchases using corporate credit card.
  • Assist with companywide purchasing.
  • Set up and maintenance of the employee register in Sage and Concur expense system.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting (must)
  • 6 months of accounting experience
  • CPA or pursuit of preferred


SKILLS:
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Must be detail oriented, organized, and be able to multi-task.
  • Must be able to handle sensitive, confidential information and have excellent communication skills.


JOB HIGHLIGHTS:
  • $29 an hour DOE
  • Temp to perm
  • On-site 5 days a week
