Onsite

Position Summary :
  • The CMM Operator operates CMM equipment to perform measurement, inspection, and testing of production materials and components using previously prepared inspection programs. The CMM Operator documents and reports non-conforming part geometry and dimensions and performs in-process/final inspections.
Position Responsibilities :
  • Use engineered drawings to create programs and operate CMM equipment to measure parts per engineering specifications;
  • Determine quality (pass/fail) of manufactured parts based on dimensional inspection;
  • Complete and maintain detailed and accurate dimensional inspection reports and analysis of inspection data;
  • Maintain quality standards using acceptable housekeeping practices and 5s processes on equipment and work area;
  • Be responsible for the operation and upkeep of all the measuring equipment, including calibration;
Position Requirements :
  • Minimum of S engineering degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience reading & interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications
  • Previous experience with a wide range of precision measuring equipment including CMM in a manufacturing setting is preferred
  • ISO training is a plus

REFERRAL BONUS PROGRAM:
If you are able to refer a person we do hire, we can offer up to $250 for contractors after they are on the job for 90 days and up to $500 for direct hires after they are on the job between 90 days to 180 days, depending on customer payment terms.
