General Description:
The Project Coordinator is responsible for demonstrating Parrish Healthcare's Culture of Choice®, ensuring the successful execution of technology projects within an organization. This position involves coordinating various IT initiatives, managing project timelines, and collaborating with multiple teams to ensure that project goals are met on time and within budget. The IT Project Coordinator works closely with project managers, technical teams, and stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and efficient project execution. The coordinator assumes 24-hour responsibility and accountability for assigned functional area(s). This position reports to the Director of IT. The position shall exemplify the desired Culture of Choice® and philosophies of Parrish Healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development of detailed project plans, including defining project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Coordinate project tasks, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope.
  • Work with project managers to allocate resources effectively and monitor resource utilization.
  • Maintain project documentation, including meeting minutes, status reports, and change logs.
  • Facilitate communication between project teams, stakeholders, and management.
  • Assist in managing stakeholder expectations and ensuring their needs are addressed throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify potential project risks and work with the IT Director to develop mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor project progress and report any deviations from the plan to the IT Director.
  • Coordinate with IT teams to ensure the availability of required resources for project execution.
  • Track resource allocation and utilization and assist in adjusting project schedules as needed.
  • Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and are delivered according to project specifications.
  • Support the IT Director in conducting post-project evaluations and lessons learned sessions.
  • Organize and coordinate project meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, and distributing materials.
  • Assist with the preparation of project-related documentation, contracts, and agreements.
  • Ability to craft non-standardized approaches when standards cannot be applied.
  • Performs similar or related duties as assigned.
  • Knows fire, disaster and safety procedures and regulations as it pertains to the work area.
Requirements:
Formal Education:
  • Associate's Degree, and/or other two-year College equivalent required (A combination of experience and certifications may be considered).
