Able to work as part of the team to participate in education, training, and expertise as a professional resource to members of the healthcare team, nutritionists, dietetic interns, and dietetic technicians to advance their development in the field. Working within a matrix organization to identify resources for patients and division to support the nutrition needs of the program; and other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's Degree in Food and Nutrition, Dietetics or related field required.
  • Registration by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, Commission on Dietetics Registration (CDR) required.
  • Current licensure in the state of Maryland as a Dietitian/Nutritionist required.
  • Clinical experience as a Registered Dietitian at a hospital facility. Will consider experience during in non-hospital facility especially within Pediatric or GI related areas/populations.
  • Prior completion of a Specialty Fellowship Program or Specialty Certification: e.g. CNSC, CDE, CSR, CSP, CSO, IBCLC. 6. Commitment to working independently and building a strong, successful nutrition program within the Division of Pediatric GI.
