Seeking a compassionate and caring individual to work in a community dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to our residents. We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team and contribute to the well-being of our residents.
Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) plays a vital role in ensuring the health and safety of our residents. This position requires a compassionate and skilled individual who can provide direct nursing care, oversee medication administration, develop and implement care plans, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments and develop individualized care plans for residents.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Monitor residents' health status, observing for any changes or signs of deterioration.
- Provide wound care, catheter care, and other necessary medical treatments.
- Educate residents and their families about health conditions, medication management, and self-care.
- Collaborate with physicians, other healthcare providers, and family members to coordinate resident care.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing staff.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff development programs.
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio.
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Experience in geriatrics or long-term care preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
