Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects for our company. In this role, you will be responsible for managing project scope, schedule, budget, and resources to ensure successful project outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in engineering, excellent project management skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage engineering projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring alignment with project objectives, scope, and requirements.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and track progress against key milestones and deliverables.
  • Coordinate project activities and resources, including internal team members, external vendors, and subcontractors, to ensure project tasks are completed on time and within budget.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies, and develop contingency plans as needed to minimize project disruptions.
  • Facilitate regular project meetings and communications to provide updates on project status, address issues, and solicit input from stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and company policies throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, quality, and procurement, to drive project success and achieve business objectives.
  • Manage project documentation, including project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk registers, and ensure accuracy and completeness of project records.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to project team members, and foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in engineering project management, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong technical background in engineering, with knowledge of engineering principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to develop and execute project plans, manage project scope, schedule, budget, and resources, and track project progress.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead cross-functional teams and build positive working relationships with stakeholders.
  • Experience with project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, or Smartsheet.
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
