The Baltimore VAMC is affiliated with the University of Maryland School of Medicine and is located on campus, attached to the University of Maryland Medical Center by a walk-bridge. The Baltimore VAMC is an important training site for University of Maryland medical students, residents, and infectious disease fellows. The Baltimore VAMC also supports a busy research service that is integrated with the University of Maryland School of Medicine. The associated University of Maryland School of Medicine faculty rank is expected to be at the Assistant Professor or higher level; however, final rank will be dependent upon selected candidate’s qualifications and experience.
