Pediatrix® Medical Group seeks a Neonatologist to join its respected, established practice at Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital. The hospital's NICU offers:
- U.S. News & World Report ranked children's hospital and the largest neonatal service in South Florida with 120 beds
- Joe DiMaggio NICU has 62 Level-IV NICU beds and 22 Level-II beds; average daily census of 70 and over 5,000 annual births
- System-wide the two sister NICUs in Miramar and Memorial West have 36 Level-III beds and an additional 8,000 annual births
- Robust high-risk perinatal navigation program including Maternal-Fetal Medicine and high-risk Obstetrics programs
- Full complement of pediatric subspecialists
- Care of full range of complex neonatal diagnoses
- On site ECMO, therapeutic hypothermia, BPD programs, full range of ventilation modes including HFOV, HFJV, NAVA
- Joe DiMaggio is part of the Memorial Healthcare System, the 4th largest public health system in the country and a quaternary trauma center
- A 4-story vertical expansion was completed at Joe DiMaggio in 2023, as well as a women's and children's outpatient pavilion in the nearby Miramar facility
- Memorial Healthcare received institutional ACGME accreditation in August 2015 and welcomed its first class of pediatric residents in 2018
