Job Title: Motor Assembly Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Motor Assembly Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling and testing small electric motors, ensuring each part is properly connected and meets our high standards. The position requires repetitive assembly work, and a keen eye for detail is essential. The ability to read schematics and mechanical drawings is crucial, and experience with electronic and/or mechanical assembly is highly valued.
Responsibilities
Assemble and test electric motors using hand and power tools.
Follow manufacturing test procedures and implement continuous improvement ideas for the manufacturing process.
Place parts in specified relationship to each other either as a sub-assembly or final assembly by soldering, clipping, screwing, or fastening all parts together following blueprints or schematics.
Rotate to different workstations as production needs require.
Help pack products into individual boxes and cases, and place them on skids.
Inspect and gauge finished parts, make tooling adjustments, and handle and move supplies and materials.
Verify that outside labels and unit labels are the same for all packaged parts.
Clean equipment and work areas by performing daily and weekly safety checks.
Essential Skills
Experience in electronic and/or mechanical assembly.
Ability to read schematics and mechanical drawings.
Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
Experience with machine tool operations and production tooling and fixtures.
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs, stand throughout the duration of the shift, bend, twist, and reach.
Must be able to read, understand, and speak English.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
J-Standard certification is a huge plus but not required.
Soldering skills are a plus but not required.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.76 - $19.76/hr.
