Job Title: Paralegal (100% Onsite) - Day Shift

Job Location: Zanesville, OH

Job Type: Permanent Full-Time

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Paralegal to join our Legal Department within a 260-bed community healthcare system. This role is 100% onsite and is scheduled for a straight day shift, Monday through Friday, totaling 40 hours per week.

The Paralegal will provide crucial support to our legal team, handling a variety of legal and administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our department. This position is ideal for a dedicated legal professional looking to make a meaningful impact in the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with preparing and organizing legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and compliance paperwork.
• Conduct legal research and gather information pertinent to ongoing cases or projects.
• Manage legal files, maintain records, and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Support the Legal Department in coordinating with internal departments on legal matters.

Qualifications:

Education: Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Legal Assisting.

Experience: At least one full year of professional experience as a Paralegal. (Note: General office or clerical experience is not considered a substitute for paralegal experience.)

Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
