GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The QA Automation tester plays a key role in supporting production systems by augmenting and executing the automated regression suite and supports white box testing efforts. Adheres to all MassDOT security standards and directives. Should be able to quickly adopt to already existing Selenium/Cucumber/Java/JScript Frameworks or Design Automation Frameworks from scratch on new Salesforce Implementations Projects. Contribute to building awareness of testing value and being able to quickly develop UI and Service layer automated scripts in a test environment based on documented manual tests and associated use cases. Should be able to write complex SQL Queries to fetch Test data from Database.

DETAILED STATEMENT OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The QA Automation tester automates manual test cases used for system and regression testing of MassDOT applications. Additionally, the QA Automation tester executes and updates existing automated regression test cases. Develop/Maintain Performance test scripts and analyzes the results. The QA automation tester collects, analyzes, tracks and report metrics of deliverables as per direction of the QA Automation Manager. The QA automation tester works on multiple, simultaneous deliverables meeting deadlines without reduction in quality.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED AT HIRE
Qualified candidate will have BS in Computer Science/equivalent (or equivalent work experience) and the following skills:
• 8+ years of overall Quality Assurance experience in Functional, Automation, API and Performance Testing.
• Demonstrated Expertise in building Test Automation Frameworks from scratch and maintain existing Frameworks.
• 5+ years of strong demonstrated programming experience in Test Automation using Java/Jscript/Selenium/Cucumber.
• 3+ years of demonstrated experience in Automating enterprise Salesforce implementation projects.
• 3+ years of demonstrated experience in Automating Web Services using Rest Assured or Rest API.
• Demonstrated experience in building & executing Performance Scripts/ Scenarios.
• nalyze Execution Reports, perform root cause analysis on test failures and provide corrective actions.
• Demonstrated experience to build complex SQL Queries and run the SQL Stored Procedures to fetch the Test data from existing Databases for Automated Tests.
• Demonstrated experience in building & interacting with dynamic objects built on Salesforce/ServiceNow Platform.
• Exposure to CodeceptJS and Cypress frameworks.
• Strong communication, analytical, documenting, reporting Skills.

• Well-versed in all testing methodologies, such as white vs. black box test work and system vs. functional.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum Environment.

QUALIFICATIONS ACQUIRED ON JOB
• Knowledge of the laws, rules, regulations, policies, procedures, specifications, standards, and guidelines governing assigned unit activities.
• Knowledge of the organizational structure and functions of the assigned agency.

MINIMUM ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS
• Experience in tracking issues and documenting efforts for remediation of errors.

• Dedication to developing routine tests and coordinating testing efforts.
• Five years of Java/JavaScript/Selenium programming demonstrated experience. Should be ready to take Programming Test in Technical Interview, when requested.
