Leasing Consultant: Bella Vista

POSITION SUMMARY

The Leasing Consultant's primary responsibility is to rent apartments to new prospects or current residents. Additionally, they assist the Community Manager and Assistant Community Manager as directed.

JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES

• Perform tasks related to renting apartment homes including generating traffic, responding to inquiries, touring prospective residents, qualifying prospects, and closing sales.
• Process rental applications, schedule move-ins, and prepare lease file documents.
• Maintain lease files per policy and accurately record traffic.
• Follow up with prospective residents and assist in community marketing.
• Conduct outreach marketing visits and maintain leads and contacts.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness of the property and model units.
• Document occurrences requiring attention and record resident service requests.
• Assist in lease renewal procedure and assemble move-in packages.
• Keep market survey of competitor rates up to date.
• Operate office alarm system and deliver move-in presentations to new residents.
• Maintain personal appearance according to company policy.
• Demonstrate customer service skills and assist with other tasks as required.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: High school degree required, college degree preferred.
• Skills & Abilities: Computer software experience including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, OneSite, and Google Suite. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Basic understanding of Fair Housing laws.
• Applicant must have the ability to speak Spanish and English

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Leasing Consultant works in the leasing office onsite.
• Involves everyday risks or discomforts typical of offices, residences, and commercial vehicles.
• May be exposed to dirty and/or hazardous conditions on occasion.

• Vision abilities and ability to hear, listen, and speak required.
