Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for documenting business policies, processes, workflows, and procedures. This role involves interviewing our global team, gathering requirements, and creating process improvements by analyzing current practices and identifying gaps. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and operational leads to ensure that business needs are met efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Document business policies, processes, workflows, and procedures by interviewing the global team and understanding current business functions.
  • Organize and compile gathered content and present it to the core team for validation and feedback.
  • Drive conversations with the team to solidify each process and workflow and formalize documentation.
  • Identify and address any gaps between the current state and desired future state of business processes.
  • Select business procedures for documentation, focusing on key areas that require more detailed attention.
  • Gather, elicit, and document requirements through multiple channels, including direct interactions with business stakeholders, functional experts, and operational leads.
  • Comprehend and map interactions and relationships of complex systems, people, processes, information, and technologies.
  • Research and evaluate alternative solutions to satisfy business needs and create system/process improvements by removing non-value-added activities.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to learn and understand business functions.
  • Excellent listening skills and the ability to restate and check understanding.
  • Proficient in writing non-technical processes using tools like Word and following existing templates and workflows (Visio or equivalent).
  • Ability to interpret business requirements into clear documentation.
  • Proficient in PowerPoint and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with global teams and partners, particularly in Asia, India, and the US.
  • Project management or project coordination skills to drive efforts and manage tasks effectively.
Certifications (if any):
  • None specified, but project management certifications (e.g., PMP) are a plus.
