Duties and Responsibilities: Participate in data gathering, research, and analytical abilities to develop insightful conclusions and generate solutions to address user needs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for effective delivery and support of data solutions. Create written communication materials that effectively summarize findings and support recommendations. Contribute to quality assurance and user acceptance testing strategies by writing test plans and participating in the execution of testing (Unit and UAT). Education and Experience: 3+ years ETL experience. BA/BS degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related experience. Required Skills: The BI ETL Developer Intermediate should possess proven understanding and expertise in various BI and ETL technologies. The developer must have demonstrated experience with the Microsoft BI stack with a specific focus on ETL development; exposure to other technologies is a plus (HaloBI, PowerBI, Tableau, Oracle, SAP BW, SAP Business Objects, etc.). Competency Requirements Extraction, Transformation and Loading (ETL) experience (Microsoft SSIS). 3+ years of database design and integration experience with SQL Server databases. Relational Database and SQL language experience. Working knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices (Agile). Query/Solution performance tuning and optimization. Troubleshooting and incident resolution. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Skills Analytics/OLAP Cube development experience (Microsoft SSAS). Report development experience (PowerBI). Multi-Dimensional Expression (MDX) development experience. Understanding of Master Data Management concepts. Experience with heterogenous data integration methodologies such as transmitting JSON/XML data via a REST API. C# programming experience. Experience with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, Snowflake, etc.).
