Job Overview

Shriners Children's is the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate and pediatric subspecialties medical center. We have an opportunity for a Per Diem Radiologist to join our team.

This position is per diem, non-exempt and benefits eligible. Compensation is determined based on years of experience and departmental equity.

Responsibilities

The Radiologist is responsible to organize and interpret x-rays for pediatric and young adult patients (ages 0 - 21) serviced by the clinic.

  • Reading and interpreting x-rays in a timely manner and evaluating the patient to determine whether they require physician intervention. Communicating results and diagnosis to physician, at all times.
  • Directing radiology staff to perform diagnostic procedures on patients, as per physician orders.
  • Educating and teaching radiology principles to staff as needed.
  • Functioning as an active member of medical staff.

  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
