St. Elizabeth Home , an Illuminus Community, is hiring for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). We offer long-term care and short-term rehabilitation in a skilled nursing setting. Originally founded in 1967, St. Elizabeth is located just blocks from downtown Janesville in the beautiful Courthouse Hill Historic District between Upper Courthouse Park and Jefferson Park.

  • Full-time, Part-time or Casual/PRN positions available
  • AM or PM shifts available
  • $26.00-34.00 per hour
  • Shift Differential for PM Shifts
  • Eligible for Sign On Bonus
Our LPN provides prescribed medical treatment under the general supervision of a registered nurse.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Maintains and actively promotes effective communication with all individuals.
  • Maintains a positive image of the entity in the community keeping in alignment with our mission, vision, and values.
  • Responsible for on-call services, as assigned.
  • Leads, guides and develops certified nursing assistants and resident assistants in the provision of quality care.
  • Supervises the duties of certified nursing assistants and resident assistants.
  • Performs medical treatments and reports status to the registered nurse.
  • Reports resident changes in condition promptly to the registered nurse.
  • Performs all necessary related functions, such as blood pressure checks and pulses in conjunction with the medication pass as needed.
  • Participates in following and updating plans of care.
  • Promotes resident centered care.
  • Performs other duties, as assigned.
Requirements
  • Current Licensed Practical Nurse credentials and license in the State of Wisconsin.
  • Active CPR
  • Commitment to quality outcomes and services for all individuals.
  • Ability to relate well to all individuals.
  • Ability to maintain and protect the confidentiality of information.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to adapt to change.
