Evaluation, Research & Accountability 17-hours per week assistant.
Under the direction of the Assessment Director and the Testing Coordinator, You will be part of a team of testers who go out to schools to administer the Acadience Reading and Math Assessments. This is given three times a year. Beginning of Year is from the start of school - end of September, Middle of Year is from December 1 - End of January, End of Year is from Middle of April - June 15. During the testing window, you work every day during regular school hours. Then you are off until the next window begins. There is a training day before each window starts. The test is administered one on one to all K-3 students in the district. The testers use a touch screen chromebook to administer the assessment. Must be able to use a touch screen device and work with kids.
The Assessment Assistants would work from August to the end of September and then again from the Beginning of December through the middle of December. They pick back up the first of January through the end of January. The last session would be mid April through the end of May and possibly in the first few days in June.
The hourly rate depends on the applicants education level. To be highly qualified, the applicant must provide documentation of either an associate's degree or 48 semester hours from and accredited university or have passed the ParaPro test.
