Olin Chlor Alkali Products and Vinyls, a division of Olin Corporation, is seeking a Technical Advisor - Cell Services. This position will be located at the Plaquemine, LA manufacturing site.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support as needed for all aspects of cell services operations, which services both diaphragm (Plaquemine, Freeport, and Becancour) and membrane technologies (St. Gabriel). In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of the production schedule and the maintenance schedule via the maintenance work process. This job function is focused on ensuring adherence to the Manufacturing Work System and coordination of Maintenance and Operations functions and activities to enhance the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the plant assets.

Technical Advisor - Cell Services Position Responsibilities:

• Provides technical support as needed for all aspects of cell services operations (troubleshooting process, hardware issues, quality issues, root cause investigation, etc.)
• Focal point in the technical operation of non-asbestos diaphragm production for diaphragms used in the production of chlorine.
• Develops and maintains procedures for Cell Services activities and cell rebuilds.
• Assists in the training of LAO Cell Services technicians as it relates to the both the production and maintenance processes, along with EH&S standards.
• Owns the maintenance work identification validation and approval phases and is accountable for the ensuring work requests are value based and in line with Plant strategy, business objectives and budgets.
• Ensures completeness of work notifications, a detail scope is provided, and the minimum work order requirements are met.
• Ensures that emergency and break-in work requests are valid and that the decision to respond it appropriate. Ensures that the Break-in decision information is filled out and captured in the notification.
• Ensures operations resources are allocated to support operations activities.
• Works with Plant SU/SD Coordinator to ensure Start Up and Shutdown tasks align with plant operations activities.
• Participates in development/monitoring of the maintenance budget and applies status/forecast as an input to manage maintenance work in the facility.

Technical Advisor - Cell Services Position Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED
• 5 years of experience in the chemical industry
• SAP experience preferred
• Prior Olin experience in a relevant position preferred
