ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Contribute to the design, build and operations of a highly scalable, secure, and available Arrow's NPD infrastructure.
  • Work alongside the team of Senior DevOps engineers to ensure DevOps platforms are secure and scale to support Organization's growth.
  • Proactively identify bottlenecks and eliminate exposure to points of failures.
  • Partner with Cyber security engineering team to respond quickly to new and emerging vulnerabilities related to security threats in the NPD Organization's build environment.
  • Work with engineering teams to build tools and automated workflows to transfer code, artifacts across multiple environments including Development, QA, Production etc.
  • Perform duties in accordance with Arrow International's policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned to support the organization.
Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's Degree in CS, IT, Networking, or similar competency preferred.
  • 10+ years of Information Technology experience with at least 5 years emphasis on DevOps.
  • Strong experience with implementing and maintaining build configurations for environments using TeamCity build server in both on-prem, and AWS cloud environments.
  • Solid experience with GIT technologies, particularly with Bitbucket.
  • Experience with building, packaging, and publishing NuGet packages using tools like JFrog.
  • Experience setting up, maintain Build environments to support Microsoft technology stack, Unity for games and systems.
  • DevOps Engineer certification, preferably AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, a plus.
  • Strong collaborative interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
  • Software development background is a plus.
  • Effectively communicate technical information and ideas.
  • Effectively present information and respond to questions from the team members.
  • Effectively document technical information and present it clearly and simply to non-technical executives.
  • Demonstrated skills with both internal and external customers.
  • Ability to implement process improvements.
  • Effectively work within deadlines and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Quickly learn new skills, and processes related to DevOps.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, research and solve challenging problems within DevOps space.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and ability to apply to improve the existing process.
