Packaging Specialist

Our client is looking for a Packaging Specialist with in-depth knowledge of packaging technology to join their team

This Specialist will work together with R&D to help develop new packaging products, as well as assist the sales team with their efforts to increase market share of these products.

Primary Job Functions:
* Source new supplier for existing products
* Respond to internal requests for material and concept development
* Assess and ensure product compliance with global regulations, focused on Direct and Indirect Food contact guidelines
* Perform in-depth analysis of technical issues with adhesive substrate compatibility in specific applications
* Design and oversee extensive testing of product performance in applications
* Work directly with quality assurance to evaluate and improve new opportunity testing
* Journal ongoing projects for current and future reference

* Comfort in a hands-on collaborative environment.
* Bachelor's Degree preferred
