The IT technician we are looking for will have 1-2 years of industry experience and possess the analytical and problem-solving skills that are needed to troubleshoot various systems.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provides initial support to all inbound support calls and requests.
  • Escalate higher level tasks and tickets to a higher-level technician and trains with their escalation when possible.
  • Provides remote and onsite IT/computer support for all brands and models: Desktops, laptops, tablets.
  • Provides support for operating systems: Windows and MAC OS and Windows Server with a basic understanding of DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, Active Directory and Email 365
  • Install, troubleshoot, and repairs physical network systems on a fundamental level.
  • Installs Ethernet cabling where needed.
  • Continually expands knowledge base by continuing professional training.
  • Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.

 Qualifications

  • GED/HS diploma and/or two years of experience in customer service, or technology support or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to have a flexible schedule for projects and required work
  • Microsoft Certifications preferred
  • SonicWall Certifications preferred

 Physical Requirements

The Physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

  • Heavy lifting is required up to 75lbs
  • Long periods of constant standing
  • Able to utilize a ladder

Expected hours of work

  • Typically, 40 hours a week, during normal business hours
  • Completes regular network maintenance outside of normal business hours, typically one to two times a month.
  • Occasional work outside of typical hours to support special projects.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $24 - $27 per hour
