Locums - Pekin, Illinois, Gastroenterology Opening (IMLC Accepted)
  • Clinical Role:

    • August 2024 - Ongoing Need
    • Shifts are Monday-Friday, 8a-4:30p, no call, no weekends or nights
    • Locum must be able to attend an onsite orientation on a weekday prior to first assignment (typically set for 8a-5p), which would include administrative paperwork and EPIC Training
    • Patient Population: Adult (18+), Geriatrics
    • Average # of Cases/Day: 15-18/day in clinic, clinic and surgical volume varies by locum (more procedural time than clinic time per week)
    • Support Staff: Clinic - GI RN, CMA / MOA, Front Office
    • No procedures or surgeries after 3:30 during the week, no weekend surgery - surgeries needed during these times are transferred
    • Occasional inpatient rounding requirements, most is after-hours phone call coverage
    • Board Certified in Gastroenterology - Required
    • Active IL License - Required or IMLC (LOQ in Hand)
    • Proof of covid vaccine is required to work at the facility - required
    • EMR: Epic
