PrideStaff Greenville is seeking an experienced Hose Assembler on behalf of our client in Greer, SC.
We are searching for a dependable & skilled Hose Assembler. The Hose Assembler responsibilities include operating equipment to couple and form various sizes and product lines of hydraulic hose assemblies.
Hose Assembler Responsibilities include:
- Assemblers operate equipment to couple and form various sizes and product lines of hydraulic hose assemblies
- Perform assembly tasks utilizing a variety tools and machines
- Work in a team supporting the safety, productivity, and delivery of high-quality products
- Perform heavy cleaning duties such as cleaning, mopping, waxing, stripping floors and shampooing rugs
- Cleaning windows and walls, moving furniture, dusting, restocking
- Set up rooms for special event
- Unlocks/secures building and rooms
- Clean up in the event of illness of student or employee
- Interacts with co-workers, supervisors, students, teachers and the general public in a friendly, professional manner.
- Basic knowledge of technology and be able to perform minimum computer skills.
- Previous experience in cleaning, maintenance, or other related fields
- Must have regular, reliable, punctual and consistent attendance
- Must be able to work 40 hours per week plus overtime
- Ability to read, understand and perform printed and verbal work instructions throughout all processes
- Constantly demonstrate safe working habits and follows all safety requirements
- Plan, evaluate, set up and run needed equipment - saws, crimpers, pushers, flushers, etc. and verifies compliance
- Operate machine controls including recognizing warning devices on machines throughout the process
- Examine materials visually or physically to ensure conformance with established standards
- Good communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced, high volume production environment
