Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Senior Management, the Manufacturing Organization, and the Sales team to enhance the company's financial performance.
  • Supervise the monthly accounting close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting to Corporate. Guarantee financial statements accurately reflect the company's financial status in accordance with GAAP.
  • Analyze financial results and key metrics with senior management, assess risks, monitor deliverable execution, and recommend actions to improve profitability and financial health.
  • Lead the creation of the annual Business Plan and monthly Profit & Loss forecasts, including margin forecasts.
  • Manage the budget and control expenses effectively.
  • Assist senior management in evaluating and executing new or revised customer contracts. Prepare financial analyses to support the Customer Quoting process and investment decisions.
  • Guide financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures.
  • Assess Capital Expenditure requests and validate return on investment.
  • Conduct pricing analyses and audits to ensure compliance with the company's Pricing Policy.
  • Support functional leaders in meeting Productivity/Cost Improvement commitments. Actively promote cost and headcount controls.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to achieve cost reductions and support company growth.
  • Manage Working Capital effectively, focusing on Inventory, Trade Receivables, and Trade Payables.
  • Evaluate financial processes and systems to drive continuous improvements in efficiency, internal controls, and reporting capabilities.
  • Maintain Cost Accounting Standards.
  • Ensure internal accounting control and SOX compliance. Support internal and external audits.
  • Oversee staff development, training, evaluation, coaching, and succession planning. Foster a workplace that encourages teamwork and enhances communication within and outside the department.
  • Participate in or lead special projects as required.
