Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Structural Engineer to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to perform structural analysis and design for industrial projects, ensuring structural integrity, safety, and compliance with regulatory requirements and project specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural engineering, with experience in the design of industrial facilities, equipment supports, and steel and concrete structures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform structural analysis and design for industrial projects, including equipment supports, pipe racks, platforms, foundations, and steel and concrete structures.
  • Utilize engineering software tools, such as STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, and ETABS, to perform structural analysis, finite element analysis (FEA), and design calculations.
  • Prepare design drawings, calculations, and specifications in accordance with project requirements, industry standards, and applicable building codes and regulations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, including civil, mechanical, and electrical engineers, to integrate structural design with other engineering disciplines and ensure coordination of design efforts.
  • Review and interpret project specifications, contract documents, and client requirements to develop appropriate structural design solutions.
  • Conduct site visits and surveys to assess existing conditions, verify design requirements, and identify potential challenges or constraints.
  • Participate in design reviews, technical meetings, and coordination meetings with clients, project teams, and regulatory agencies to address design-related issues and ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and designers, including reviewing and checking their work for accuracy and completeness.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in structural engineering, with a focus on industrial applications.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on industrial projects.
  • Proficiency in structural analysis and design software tools, such as STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, and ETABS.
  • Strong understanding of structural engineering principles, building codes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with steel and concrete design, including seismic design and blast-resistant design, is desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex structural issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and interact with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in design calculations, drawings, and specifications.
