AHMG’s advanced practice providers manage the treatment and care for our patients in the practice setting, as well as at AdventHealth’s eleven campuses in Altamonte Springs, Apopka, Celebration, AdventHealth for Children, East Orlando, Kissimmee, Orlando, Winter Park, Waterman, Winter Garden, and AdventHealth for Women AdventHealth Medical Group Psychiatry at Innovation Tower Is seeking a full-time Outpatient Psychiatrist AdventHealth Orlando is looking to add a full-time Outpatient Psychiatrist with Neurological expertise to join our psychiatry program. The psychiatrist will help to treat newly diagnosed neurology patients suffering from a wide array of Neurological disorders in an outpatient setting. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The MD or DO, is responsible for: Conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments for patients with neurological conditions. Providing psychotherapy and medication management as appropriate. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists, social workers, and primary care physicians. Engaging in patient education and offering support to help individuals manage their mental health effectively. Staying abreast of the latest research and best practices in psychiatric care. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED: Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with physicians, staff, and patients. Strong communication skills. Strong medical decision-making skills.
