About Us: Join our client's Radiation Oncology Center, a respected provider of oncology services. As an independently owned facility, they are recognized for their compassionate and innovative approach to oncology care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer radiation therapy treatments using linear accelerators and other advanced radiation equipment.
- Ensure precise patient positioning and effective treatment delivery.
- Monitor patient responses to treatments and communicate any concerns to the oncologist.
- Maintain comprehensive records of treatment plans, patient progress, and outcomes.
- Educate patients about treatment processes and potential side effects.
- Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy or a related field.
- Current certification as a Radiation Therapist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or an equivalent credential.
- Proficient in medical imaging techniques and equipment.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Experience in acute care or critical care settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with various radiation therapy modalities
- $41.00 - $62.00 hourly
