JOB SUMMARY:

As an Outside Construction Roofing Sales Representative, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our customer base and driving revenue growth. You will be responsible for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities by proactively engaging with homeowners in Austin and surrounding neighborhoods. Your primary focus will be on promoting our roofing services, educating potential customers, and closing sales deals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

Prospecting and Lead Generation:

  • Conduct door-to-door outreach to identify potential customers in residential neighborhoods.
  • Generate leads through effective communication.
  • Utilize marketing materials and product knowledge to create interest and awareness.

Customer Engagement:

  • Develop a strong understanding of the customer's roofing needs and concerns.
  • Build rapport and trust with homeowners through professional and courteous interactions.

Sales Presentations:

  • Conduct comprehensive and persuasive sales presentations to potential customers.
  • Showcase the benefits of our roofing solutions, addressing customer inquiries and objections.
  • Provide accurate and transparent pricing information.

Proposal and Contract Negotiation:

  • Prepare detailed proposals based on customer needs and preferences.
  • Clearly explain contract terms and secure signed agreements.

Relationship Building:

  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers, fostering long-term loyalty.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project transitions from sales to implementation.

Sales Reporting and Goal Achievement:

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and leads.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • MUST HAVE A LATE MODEL TRUCK (Half ton or Larger) or the eagerness to invest in one before starting the job.

  • ****Valid driver's license.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.

  • Ability to handle rejection and overcome objections with persistence.

  • Familiarity with the Austin, TX residential market is a plus.
