Who are we looking for
As a Software Engineering I for the Demand Planning team, you will join a highly visible engineering team passionate about building applications that are essential to Nike's end-to-end planning and supply chain strategy. As part of a growing team, you'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects, contributing to the design and development of new features, improving existing systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, a strong problem solver, and excited to grow within the engineering field
What you will work on
Develop, test, and deploy new software solutions in accordance with company standards and best practices.
Collaborate with senior engineers, cross-functional teams and venders to design and implement software features.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to performance, bugs, and system errors.
Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality code and maintainability.
Assist in the continuous improvement of the software development lifecycle.
Write clear, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Keep up with emerging technologies and implement them when appropriate.
What you bring
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong foundational knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, JavaScript, or others.
Experience with object-oriented programming and basic data structures.
Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
Good communication skills and a willingness to learn from senior team members.
