Description: We are Lockheed Martin You will be the F-35 Release Train Engineer Senior Manager leading the Release Train Engineer team that will be responsible for facilitating all the products necessary to support the Lot Releases. The Release Train Engineer team will be reporting plans and progress to the Technical Leads and Engineer Business Owner. As the Senior Manager your responsibilities will include: • Facilitating the release build process, Coordinating and facilitating across the Technical Leads on build content • Manage and resolve impediments through the release process, facilitate pre and post build events. • Monitor and report to the Engineering Business Owner, identifies and addresses systematic issues, collaborate with Technical Leads and Engineering Business Owners to ensure alignment to the capability roadmap. The products to support the release include Mission Systems, Vehicle Systems, Off-board Mission Support, firmware, and aircraft loadable data files. • Facilitate the PI Planning that aligns with capability roadmap and ensure all stakeholders are involved. • Managing and mitigating any cross-release conflicts. Each release line is not to be developed in a silo and more as an integrated release that have dependencies. ** Must be a US Citizen. Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
