Midland Health is seeking an experienced Speech Therapist
Shift and Schedule
Will be discussed in interview
Position Summary
Performs the essential duties and the primary functions of a Speech/Language Pathologist. Responsibilities include but are not limited to evaluating patients, developing goals and treatment plans, administering speech therapy treatments, documenting treatment, and communicating with physicians and other health care workers. Responsible for promoting teamwork with physicians and personnel of other departments. Responsible for solving practical problems, dealing with a variety of instructions in written and oral form.
Administer ST modalities, procedures, and protocols according to department guidelines.
Provide Accurate, timely, and complete documentation.
Support and practice in accordance with hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.
Assumes responsibility for his/her professional development.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
Bachelor's Degree required; Masters or Doctoral Degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program required
Must meet current legal requirements of licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist within the State of Texas
Housing is NO longer included. Traveler/agency will need to secure housing
**If a traveler is selected for assignment, a FULL State and County Criminal Background Check is required, not limited to 7 years. **
