Work Shift: Night

Clinical Nurse II: Salary Range: $34.65 - $35.69 per hour

Job Description:

  • Provide nursing care for patients recovering from colorectal and urologic surgery
  • Collaborate with Wound Ostomy and Continence Nurses for ostomy and wound care needs
  • Administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments and procedures, and document treatment
  • Assess and evaluate patient needs and responses to care
  • Direct and guide ancillary personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a professional nursing program and hold a current NYS Registered Nurse license
  • Certification in BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC
  • 1-3 years of previous clinical nursing experience in an Emergency Department preferred
  • Ability to improve job performance through continuing education
  • Possess knowledge of quality concepts, principles, and problem-solving tools and techniques
