Job Summary and Qualifications

  • Provide direct patient care within the scope of the Registered Nurse Practice Act.
  • Use therapeutic communication in daily practice and maintain a safe therapeutic environment.
  • Identify nursing problems as they relate to the individual needs of the patient and plan individualized patient care using an interdisciplinary approach.
  • Participate in performance improvement activities and foster the goals of the hospital's mission and vision statement.
What you will do in this role:
  • Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
  • Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of human growth and development and perform technical skills and procedures.
What qualifications you will need:
  • Current RN licensure by TN Board of Nursing or a Board of Nursing from a compact state.
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification.
  • 1 year of RN experience, with 1 year of ER experience highly preferred.
