ABC Companies' nine (9) world-class facilities routinely deliver service excellence and feature the latest diagnostic tools and state-of-the-art fabrication systems designed to cover a comprehensive range of transit bus, motorcoach and RV service and repair. In addition to a full line of diesel and gas commercial vehicle products ranging from vans to luxury buses, ABC is also a leader in fully electric commercial vehicles.

Overview:

As the Senior Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), you will support the Director of Finance & Planning by optimizing financial performance and providing actionable insights. You'll manage forecasts, budgets, financial analysis, and treasury functions, guiding strategic decision-making to achieve financial goals.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field (MBA or CFA/CPA preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A, treasury management, and analytics.
  • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with Power BI for data visualization.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial modeling.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to simplify complex data.
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting financial information.
Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning and Analysis:
  • Manage annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term plans.
  • Provide in-depth analysis of financial performance and key metrics.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.
  • Act as a liaison between finance and operational teams.
  • Develop financial models for business initiatives.
  • Automate reporting processes for consistency and accuracy.
Cash Flow Management:
  • Create and maintain cash flow models to support planning.
  • Identify risks related to currency, interest rates, and credit.
  • Report on cash flow trends and variances.
Financial Reporting and Compliance:
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Manage the annual audit process and compliance with standards.
  • Stay updated on accounting regulations and best practices.
Tax Compliance:
  • Coordinate with external CPAs for tax filings and strategies.
  • Analyze and resolve sales tax issues for compliance.
Additional Duties:
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Physical Demands:
  • Ability to frequently move items weighing at least 10 pounds
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary positions for long periods of time
  • Infrequently positions self and move about in the office area
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, printer, etc.
