We are seeking a part-time, day shift experienced nurse with an interest in cardio-pulmonary medicine to join our team on the Acute Pulmonary Unit at Inova Fairfax Hospital's Heart and Vascular Institute. Inova Fairfax Hospital is hiring a full time RN for the Acute Pulmonary Unit. APU is a fast paced, top performing unit with core values of teamwork, patient advocacy, and excellent patient care. Shift: 2 X 12hr Day Shifts

This Experienced RN position is eligible for a competitive Sign On and Relocation Bonus for qualified candidates.
Our specialty patient population includes but is not limited to:
- COPD
- CHF
- Dysrhythmia
- Anti-rhythmic loading

Requirements: Requires a minimum of 1-year Registered Nurse clinical experience in the acute care setting
Minimum Education Requirement: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 24 months of start date BLS for Healthcare Provider Certification required and ACLS strongly preferred (must obtain within first 3 months)
Minimum Licensure/Certification Requirement:
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Virginia or hold a privilege to practice in the State of Virginia under the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification from the American Heart Association required upon start.
