Job Shift: Day and Evening Shifts
Shift Details: Shifts scheduled Monday to Friday, with two evening shifts. Weekend PRN required.
Position Description
The Physical Therapist (PT) administers medically prescribed physical therapy treatments to patients, independently evaluating patient's level of function, determining treatment strategies, and delivering/delegating physical therapy services to maximize functional independence.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough examination and evaluation of patient's level of function
- Establish measurable goals with the patient/family
- Implement and delegate patient care using appropriate interventions
- Provide patient and caregiver education
- Participate in patient discharge planning and coordination of care
- Delegate patient care tasks and provide clinical supervision

Qualifications
- Bachelors, Masters or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Open to new graduates
- Previous experience as a Physical Therapist preferred
- Current State of CT Physical Therapy license required or active temporary license at time of hire
