What You Will Do
The Helpdesk Analyst will provide a wide variety of IT support and services to end users in the Ennis, TX facility including desktop support, network connectivity and maintaining existing critical infrastructure. The candidate along with other IT staff will be responsible for keeping the production facility's IT-related issues at the forefront of their daily objectives. You are extremely reliable with excellent communication and troubleshooting skills as well as comfortable working in both an IT and manufacturing environment.
How You Will Make an Impact
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
- Act on all help desk and operations related issues in person and remotely, providing advice and support to a growing end user base
- Ability to prioritize and escalate issues as needed to ensure exceptional customer service
- Setup, configure and deploy laptops for newly onboarded users
- Conform to policies, controls, & procedures across help desk function
- May have IT specialty like networking, operating systems, cloud, etc.
- Position requires being part of a rotating call schedule to support our 24X7 operations
- Bachelor's Degree and/or related certification preferred
- 3+ years of experience supporting desktop support/end users in a manufacturing environment
- Must have superior customer service skills and strong verbal / written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both novice computer users and experienced professionals with a professional demeanor
- Experience with hardware replacement such as hard drives, memory, keyboards on laptops and desktops
- Working experience with replacing and/or upgrading an end user from one system to another
- Windows based operating systems
- Ticketing system experience
- Cloud application administration- Office 365, Antivirus, Spam filters
- Network experience supporting and maintaining LAN/WAN and wireless networks
- Experience with troubleshooting and maintaining routers, switches, firewalls, intrusion detection/ prevention, wireless, and other network devices, O365, D365 experience, Juniper or Cisco equipment is a plus
