Our focus for you is to help develop your agronomic and business skillset to prepare for positions in our growing portfolio across the country. This position will be part of a company portfolio of private, public and resort courses throughout the U.S. The internship will move throughout the 9 courses at PGA WEST to enhance the learning experience. We offer cross-facility training, scholarships and opportunities to participate in a PGA Tour event when we host The American Express at PGA WEST.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS (choose one)

Currently studying agronomy, turfgrass management or a similar degree.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

The golf course agronomy intern is responsible for learning the agronomics to produce playing conditions outlined in the course's business plan. This person will help attract and develop talent at all levels of golf course maintenance to create a highly functional team. This individual will also focus on the business of agronomy, technology, continuing education and long term strategic planning.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

• 1-year turfgrass management experience required.
• Currently learning about agronomy and turfgrass management practices with the ability to teach others.
• A strong business aptitude and passion for the golf business.
• Current (or ability to obtain) state certification or licensing as a pesticide applicator.
