Job Title: Replenisher - Warehouse Associate Pay & FSLA Status: Competitive Compensation, D.O.E.; Hourly non-exempt Regular Weekly Hours: Full-time/40 hours per week (overtime as needed) POSITION SUMMARY: Our Replenishers are responsible for restocking the warehouse using powered industrial equipment in a safe and efficient manner. This position supports the accurate management of inventory information and adjustment of inventory records by conducting physical inventory counts during the replenishment process. The accuracy of physical inventory and timely adjustments is critical to mitigating the many downstream impacts that can occur due to inaccuracies. This is a labor-intensive position that may require heavy lifting. Individuals are regularly on their feet throughout their shift and may work at heights as required. Safety is a priority. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Operate powered industrial equipment such as forklifts or combilifts to manipulate and move products for replenishments, packaging, and staging. Take inventory of materials and ensure that the product is stored and secured accurately and safely. Any noticeable damage should be pulled aside and communicated per management’s direction to be resolved the next business day. Use RF Scanner to identify locations to replenish, process work orders, and make inventory adjustments as needed. Actively participate with operations management in determining the root cause of inventory discrepancies and developing and implementing corrective action plans to eliminate repetitive errors. Perform physical inventory counts during replenishment and make inventory adjustments as needed within the system. Maintain proper housekeeping to ensure easy access to bays. Forklift duties, including picker forklifts and combilifts, will be assigned to this position. Any assigned forklift duties will first require taking and passing a forklift training course and obtaining a certificate. Forklift duties will include staging and/or stacking material neatly and safely, operating the forklift in a safe manner, filling the forklift with propane fuel, and regularly checking the forklift fluid levels. REQUIRED SKILLS: Ability to read, write, and communicate in English as it relates to the job and to the safety regulations. Ability to adhere to all facets of safety policies and procedures, including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as designated by OrePac’s safety program. Ability to perform all essential responsibilities of the job in a safe manner. Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment within a team or individually with minimal supervision while achieving quality and timely completion of assigned tasks to achieve customer satisfaction. Ability to perform basic mathematical functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED). 1 or more years of experience in a warehouse environment (preferred). Any combination of education, training, or experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position will be accepted in place of the education and/or experience requirements listed for this role. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Regularly required to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Regularly required to see, talk, and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, the ability to adjust focus, and peripheral vision. Regularly use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. Regularly reach with hands and arms. Regularly lift/move/manipulate up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds. Regularly required to stand and walk for prolonged periods. Regularly steer, reach, and handle various materials or equipment if forklift operation duties are assigned to the position. WORK ENVIRONMENT: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate/loud. The employee frequently works in high, precarious places. The employee occasionally works in outside weather conditions. Report, and whenever possible correct, unsafe working conditions to branch leadership. Operate vehicles while in the course of employment in a safe and lawful manner. Provide assistance to reduce or eliminate workplace hazards. Comply with company drug testing policies and procedures. Comply with company Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) policies.
